Hello Kitty Online

OMG! I got accepted! Last April, I signed up through MMOSite.com for a beta position on Hello Kitty Online. Original positions had been filled by members who submitted videos of why they should be chosen as a beta tester in HKO’s closed beta. Guess they needed a few more testers, so I signed up and received my congratulatory note of acceptance. I was only able to play for about 2 weeks before they closed beta testing to make changes, fix problems and implement new ideas. It was really a great game and I was extremely sad to have such a short testing period end.
This week, the 12th, I received an email from Sanrio/HKO stating they were taking email requests for “Founders Beta Testing” period (starting October 8th). 20,000 positions were available. pff, not a problem I thought. I was sure to make it in. Sent in my email and found out the 19th, today, that I made it in! YAY! I decide to check out the site for any further info. One the 17th, FIVE days after the announcement, they had already filled TWENTY THOUSAND spots! Can you believe that? I had no idea that it was THAT popular – popular, yes, but 20,000 popular?!?! Geez. Glad I put in my application right away. Whew! lol
